Who can get coverage under IAA Healthcare?
We provide cover for individuals, families, employees under corporate schemes, and dependents such as spouses, children, and in some cases parents.
Why should I get medical insurance with IAA Healthcare?
Our plans protect you from unexpected medical expenses, provide access to quality hospitals, including emergency support, and ensure peace of mind in times of illness.
Coverage varies by plan but may include outpatient care, inpatient treatment, maternity, chronic illness management, emergencies, surgeries, ICU/NICU, dental, optical, and specialist consultations.
Do you cover pre-existing or chronic conditions?
Yes, depending on the plan. Some conditions may have a waiting period before full coverage applies.
Is maternity care included?
Maternity and newborn care are covered under specific plans or corporate policies.
Are dental and optical services included?
Yes, these are included in select plans or offered as add-ons.
Does IAA Healthcare cover medical emergencies and accidents?
Yes, emergency care and ambulance services are covered.
A premium is the amount you pay to stay covered. Payments can be monthly, quarterly, annually, or handled through your employer. We offer a pre- paid service before commencement of the plan though according to the situation we are flexible and can accommodate varying financial plans. A medical insurance premium is the amount of money that an individual or policyholder pays regularly—typically monthly, quarterly, or annually—to an insurance company in exchange for medical coverage. This payment ensures that the insurance policy remains active and provides financial protection against healthcare expenses, such as doctor visits, hospital stays, surgeries, and prescriptions. Premium amounts can vary based on factors like the coverage plan, the insured's age, health status, and whether the premium is paid monthly or as a lump sum annually
Are there co-payments or deductibles?
Some plans may include co-payments or deductibles. These details are clearly stated in your policy schedule. (we don’t do copay in any of our offers)
Can I upgrade or change my plan?
Yes, at renewal or following the death of a dependant.

Can I get treatment outside the network? Treatment outside the network requires pre-authorization and may attract partial payment or reimbursement.
Do I need pre-approval before visiting a hospital? For emergencies, no. For planned admissions or specialist care, and access to services outside the service provider panel, pre-authorization is advised.
You can receive pre-authorized treatment at network facilities or request reimbursement with receipts and claim forms after treatment.
How long does claims processing take?
Reimbursements are usually processed within 10 working days once all documents are received.
What happens if a claim is rejected?
You are notified with reasons and guidance on how to appeal or correct the issue.
Policies typically run for one year and are renewable.
Is there a waiting period?
Yes, certain services such as maternity or chronic illness treatment may have waiting periods depending on the client/plan/package/scheme
Can I add or remove dependents?
Yes, dependents can be added at enrollment or during policy renewal or following a death or a new born
Yes, we provide customizable group health plans for companies and organizations.
Can employees add dependents?
Yes, depending on the package, employees can add spouses and children during initial enrollment or renewal.
What happens if I leave my employer?
You may transition to an individual plan with IAA Healthcare. IAA has individual and family covers that you can explore
Yes, ambulance services are included under most plans. Let’s remove that and just add covered.
What should I do in an emergency?
Visit the nearest accredited facility or call our emergency support line. Under emergency the client can go to the nearest clinic or hospital and call IAA after being stabilized or 72 hours
